Below we have listed the major Extension-related activities scheduled for our county in the near future. Annual Taos County Fair
The 2008 Taos County Fair is scheduled for August 23-24, 2008 at the Juan I. Gonzales Memorial Taos County Agricultural Center.
Entry days are: August 21th -- Non-perishable items (Canned Goods, Sewing, Quilts, Arts and Crafts and Wood Crafts)
August 22th -- Rabbits and Poultry (4-H and Open Divisions) -- Livestock (4-H and Open Divisions) -- Perishable items (Baked and Fresh Goods)
August 22th & 23th -- Fruits and Vegetables
Judging of Rabbits and Poultry and the Showmanship Competition are scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2008. Livestock Judging and the Jr. Livestock Sale are set for Saturday, August 23, 2008.
